Meet Peggy Nash, one of the perceived front-runner candidates in the New Democrat leadership race. She will make a speech and answer questions from the audience.

Peggy Nash is the member of parliament for Parkdale-High Park in Toronto. As an executive for Canada’s largest private-sector union, she gathered credibility on social justice, the environment and economic issues. She received two awards from the Sierra Club for her participation in the Green Cars project with the Canadian Auto Workers and Greenpeace. She is also a founding member of Equal Voice, a multi-partisan organization that advocates for the election of more women in Canada.
